Tamara Purtell Therapy LLC

I am a certified perinatal mental health specialist and am passionate about working with moms. My practice focuses on helping women as they transition into motherhood, postpartum depression and anxiety, challenges of parenting neurodiversity or children with additional needs, and post-traumatic stress disorder. I also have extensive experience working with substance use disorders and behavioral addiction. My work experiences include individual and family therapy, residential treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, and supervision of Limited Licensed Counselors. I utilize person centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral informed therapy. I aim to provide a safe and welcoming environment to explore challenges, triggers, and learn healthy coping tools. My goal is to instill hope and growth into your life.
